Members of any New Zealand Mustang club can attend the conference hosted by a different regional Mustang Club on Labour weekend each year.
There are slower and faster Cruise Classes with speed monitored by a pace car, whereas the High Performance open class is not.
Welcome to Canterbury Mustang Owners Club
Canterbury Mustang Owners Club located in Christchurch New Zealand is comprised of Mustang enthusiasts brought together by one of the world’s greatest motoring companies.
Club member vehicles include 1964 to 1973 classics, 1974 to 2014 and current model Ford Mustangs, Shelby, Roush, Saleen, RTR and other special and signature editions.
Our club has over 350 memberships across Christchurch and Canterbury, as well as members in Nelson – Marlborough, West Coast, North Otago and beyond.
Our members enjoy a wide variety of events and social occasions, all connected by their strong interest in all things Mustang and great friendship.

Canterbury Mustang Owners Club 40 Year History 1981 – 2021
30th Anniversary Celebration – August 2011.
Canterbury Mustang Owners Club was incorporated in April 1981 with a membership of 30 Mustangs.
Today in 2023 the club has over 350 memberships across Christchurch and Canterbury, as well as members in Nelson – Marlborough, West Coast, North Otago and beyond.
Join us on this historic journey down memory lane, as we highlight the inception of the Canterbury Mustang Owners Club 40 years ago from 1981 through to 2021.
